Wedding Photographer Interview Questions
Experience
· How long have you been a wedding photograher and how many weddings have you photographed?
· Why did you get into wedding photography?
· How familiar are you with the ceremony/banquet/reception site(s)? If not, will you do any location scouting?
· Have you handled events of my wedding type (specific to my culture and traditions) and size before?
Style
· What photography styles do you specialize in? Can you briefly describe some of your creative shots?
· Will you accept a list of must have shots and when you will need it by?
· What's your typical wedding day schedule? When do you arrive to setup, how many hours do you cover, etc?
Technical
· What type of camera and equipment do you use?
· Will you be the photographer taking the photos at my wedding or will it be one of your associates? How many photographers will be at my wedding?
· How will you accomodate for different lighting situations (such as tall ceilings or dark rooms)?
· Can other guests take photos while you are taking photos?
Backup
· Will there be backup equipment available? Is there a backup for the photographer(s) in case they can't make it?
· Does your company have liability insurance?
After Wedding
· How long after the event will the proofs be ready? Will the wedding photos be available online?
· Will I get the negatives/digital images for free or what is the charge? CD/DVD?
