Ammie Wang was a true pleasure to work with. From the moment I first met her I felt fully comfortable around her, and knew that if I was truly comfortable my smile would show it in my wedding photos. She was professional, friendly, energetic, and thorough on the wedding day itself. She captured all the important people and photos I asked for, and we ended up with a fantastic selection of pictures from the day! I could not be happier with her service and product. I highly recommend Ammie for a wedding or any event.

We were looking for a photographer with a great personality, enthusiasm and professionalism. Ammie fit all these qualifications and more. She always made time to meet with us and address our concerns about our wedding day.

Because we were coming from out of town it was very important that we found someone who was flexible with our time, which Ammie was. She was willing to meet with us during the week and sometimes late in the evening. The day of our wedding was exactly a week before Ammie's own wedding, but she was still willing to do ours, Thank You So Much Ammie & Mark!!!

Ammie went beyond what any photographer would normally do, including giving us advice on things for our wedding that we hadn't yet planned. She even even helped me with my bustle during our wedding reception when my bridesmaids were having trouble.

During our reception many of our guests commented on how friendly Ammie was and how she was able to put everyone at ease during a usually stressful time.

The pictures and album turned out gorgeous. When making the album, Ammie asked us how we would like it laid out. We told her what we wanted, but did not know how the final product would turn out. We didn't need to worry because it was perfect. The album was just how we pictured it, telling the story of our wedding day. Our family and friends couldn't believe how well the album turned out. As for the pictures, they can't wait to get their own copies.

Ammie exceeded all our expectations! We have been recommending her to everyone we know that is engaged or needs a photographer.

Of seven wedding photographers my fiancee and I met before our June 2007 wedding, Ammie and her partner Mark stood out for both personality and their beautiful pictures and albums. They were at the middle of the price range, and to us, easily the best price-to-performance.

We met Ammie at a wedding faire, where several of her album samples got our imaginations going--they are so artful, and each one tells a different story. We also noticed that people in Ammie's pictures look relaxed,
not posed or tense, and a lot of personality comes through. Since our wedding photographer would be interacting with us and our nearest & dearest throughout our wedding day, we wanted someone we'd enjoy being around, who could add good energy to the day. After meeting with her again, we went with Ammie. She struck us as genuinely pleasant, energetic, and excited about what she does.

We were so right. Ammie and Mark were professional, artful, hard-working, and great fun to work with.

Ammie met us at our venue (a long drive) a couple weeks before the wedding to go over our plans. Her ideas and questions ended up helping us to better plan our wedding day. She was receptive to our preferences and had great ideas to improve on our requests (without ever being pushy, as some others we met seemed to be). For example, we wanted a photo of all our guests on the large front porch at our venue. Ammie improved on our idea. She took the shot from the balcony above, catching everyone looking up at her, each face visible.

Ammie and Mark were a complete pleasure to work with on our wedding day. During bride and groom "prep" photos, Ammie even helped me get my makeup and corset-back gown right--while snapping some great photos. She knows a LOT about weddings--she's been at quite a few! During the ceremony and reception,
Ammie and Mark were unobtrusive yet somehow magically in the right place at the right time to catch all the key moments.

The photos are a beautiful mixture of the scenery, details, people and events of our wedding. Ammie made great use of our venue--picking a lovely staircase, balcony, fountain, french doors... for some very artistic

pictures. The candids are great too. They found and featured our closest friends and family, and got a good face shot of almost every guest--and amazingly caught their personalities spot on. The photos tell our wedding story--all the smiles, laughs and deeper feelings during the ceremony; the Best Maid interrupting her
toast to point out some deer passing outside (and the laughter after); my parents dancing their classic-style swing--it's all there in the very-high-resolution digital negatives. We'll enjoy them, and prints from them, for
many years.
