Contrary to what may have been said about True Love. I had my wedding 9/10/11 and had the best experience ever. I used True Love photographer Garcia and he was the best. He directed the poses so well. He got along with our families, it was like he was a part of the family. Our wedding pictures came out beautiful. The only thing I think could have been better was the attention to detail in the photoshopping. I didn't use any other of their services but when I did come in to the store everyone seemed like they were having a blast getting their hair and make up done. I would recommend True Love to any who is doing their wedding on a budget.

We selected True Love Wedding Service located at Flushing Mall, Queens NY. Our experience was so horrible I just want to warn every other couple that plans on using them.

I understand a lot of the other reviewers are giving TL high scores but please keep in mind that I have gone through the whole process with them from beginning to end and not just the beginning selection before the wedding day.

Our wedding day was in Nov. 2010. Before the actual wedding the customer service was exceptional. Angela was our first consultant but then the manager, Joanne took over. The wedding day itself was a disaster, poorly organize and the photographer wasn't as good as the images we saw on they computers. Once you paid the full amount, which is require before you pick up the photo CD, the excellent service stops.

The Photographer Chao was a pleasant man but not creative at all, takes lots of photo shots but majority of the images are not usable for our album in the CD because they were so random, unnatural and parts of the face were blurry. Does not know how to give directions. All he does is ask you to act natural and smile. Takes a lot of smoking break.

Our wedding consultant was Mrs. JOANNE. She was extremely nice at first. All she cares about is the payments and she will push for it.

My wedding day make-up was not the same as the test trial. END RESULT: fake eyelashes was uneven and started to come off within 2 hrs (cheap glue), Dry cakey complexion, pale sickly look, WORST thing my eyebrows are light by nature and she darken them with a brow pencil and it was UNEVEN and one was shorter then the other. She tired to cover up her mistake by giving me side swept bangs.

The DVD that we received had a lot of images that were not all Photoshop. Red-eyes, dark dark circle and blemishes for some of my family and friend photos. My husband had a pimple on the day of our wedding and it was apparent in all photos. It is clear that someone just randomly grab a bunch of the photos that consist mostly of scenery and objects rather than people and put it into the CD.

The Albums and Enlarge Wedding Photos took about 7 months to get. Granted that we made a few request but that was only because they took mostly non-people photos to put the album together to save time on photoshopping and the ones with people didn't have any touch ups at all.

Save yourself the headache and don't waste your time or money at TL.

We were married 8 months ago and used the Brooklyn center. We have had nothing but trouble with them since the wedding was over. Every single step since then was delayed and I have had to hound and hunt down our contact person. We finally received the dvd and luckily have our proofs but now the brooklyn office closed without notice, we can't locate our coordinator who had "laryngitis" for a month and refuses to respond to our emails or phone calls and am now trying to work with another site to find out what's going on with our albums. TERRIBLE!!! Never ever ever recommend just hoping the queens site can help us.

We went to the flushing branch. Had our wedding in the city. They supplied the limo, makeup, suit for the bestmen, wedding gown, wedding day photos, and studio photos. The photos came out very well, the photographers were professional, and the photos were nicely touched up. Took over 5 months to get the books back though. In the contract it was stated as 3 months. However, we asked for several changes which created the delays.

Advice for anyone going with True Love:

This is a value based service. They are cheap. You're going to run into delays if you expect the perfect dress, you want to make numerous changes to your photo books, or you make a lot of last minute changes.

Great place for an organized couple who want to save money and have a "good enough" mentality.

Not a good place for a disorganized couple who are going to make last minute changes, expect A+ service for a B- budget, and same day photo delivery.

You get what you pay for. And for the money it was 4 stars.

Went to the Brooklyn office and service has been horrible. I constantly have to followup with them and dates keep getting pushed back. We have provided feedback for our video over 4 months ago and still no draft or delivery date. All we want is to get our albums/videos and be done with this. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with any vendor we have worked with.

Also, please see that on this site, True Love rates themselves as 5 stars throughout the post which affects the average star rating. IF you take those out, the average is definitely below 2 stars. Shady shady business here.

My husband and I were initially really happy with the service True Love (Brooklyn Branch) provided us during the pre-wedding photo shoots. Our photographer took some great shots and he was really professional. However, once the wedding was done and most of the down payments were given, we found ourselves calling True Love a million times trying to follow up on the progress of our videos, wedding albums, enlargements, etc.and every time we get broken promises...we will always hear one of the following excuses, either "we will get it to you next week, I promise" or "we have a lot of weddings this past month so we are short on staff" or the best one yet, " Don't worry this will be ready for sure on a certain date and I will even hand deliver it you.." Then we find out, he is no where to be reached. Bottom line is it is not my problem that you're busy with other weddings. You took on a job along with my down payment so I would like to see some results. I would like to see those results before I celebrate my one year anniversary. Also, please don't give any more broken promises. This is no way to do business. We would certainly not recommend this place to any of our friends.

Awful place to get wedding photograph done, they tend to overbook weddings, and once get the money you'd have to call millions time after 6 weeks to check if your photos are ready. Each time, the answer would be"we have lots of weddings lately, your photoes are not ready yet". Ok, after 2 months, you still haven't got my photos ready, when then? No follow up service whatsoever, well, why you tend to overbook if you cannot even handle it. Suggest bride-to-be go elsewhere...strongly suggest!!!!

I would DEFINITELY recommend going elsewhere. Planning a wedding isn't easy and to have them as our Wedding Planner it definitely made ours much worse. They'll smile and be nice to you but once they get your business/down payment everything goes downhill. I know this place is reasonably priced but I would rather pay more money than to go through this pain and suffering. If you are planning to go with them then I wish you luck and get everything in writing. Also they tend to overbook so be prepare to have missed appointments or cancellation from them.

The dress department service is appalling. First of all, the dept. only selects three dresses (at most) for you and claim it is all they have in your size They state that a size is "unpopular" so they don't have many dresses in that size. Fellow brides who had also used that service were size 0s, 2s, 8s and 10s. How are any of those sizes not popular ? I have been there to select dresses for outside, studio and wedding day pictures. TL has the same story each time I had to go there for a dress, which is new dresses are arriving so I should wait. However, hey "forget" to mention there is a $150 surcharge to even try on the dress let alone rent it.
They write down notes for your bridesmaids' dresses that turns out completely useless. For example, a friend had selected her bridal party dresses, informed the dress department, and then almost one month away from her wedding, finds out they forgot to book the dresses for her wedding. I have had a bridesmaid who had to go there three times because they constantly kept getting her measurements wrong.
The worst I've heard is when a friend, who needed a wedding gown for her pictures, had the dress department completely ignoring her even though there were no customers. Then when she asked for help to zip up her dress, she gv her a bitchy attitude.
TL's pictures are great but the dress experience makes the whole wedding process unnecessarily and extremely stressful.

Was part of the bridal party. I was MOH. They bitched at my friend for having too many bridesmaids (6 total) which was typical for an American wedding but not Chinese. Whatever we are pretty much ABC. We had to settle with whatever dresses they had. Which left us only one type and one color : light pink.
My friend paid extra to have them open up early so we can leave early. In the end another party showed up at opening time and the people focused the same amount of attention on them which made us leave later. There is no point to leave early.
They charge more money for the newer gowns.

Pictures ended up lousy, not worth two cents to even talk to the sales rep. Didn't like the photography and photographers. People over there were unprofessional. Felt everything was a rush, they just wanted to collect your money and that is it. No true love keep sake memory cause the photographer do not how to use the camera. Hired some idiot that don't know how to operate the camera for our actual day of the wedding. The albums were a mess switched some pictures of another bride to my wedding book. Actual wedding day the photographers was no where to be found when I wanted to requested to take pictures with certain people but rather instead they ended up ordering dinner at our own expense. Planning to do a petition campaign to save newly weds from going to this place. This place is a SCAM.
