She did such a great job! I didn't have to touch up anything except my lipstick and a little powder to cover shinyness towards the end of the day. the best part is she is really cheap and works really fast! With an asian wedding, my day was starting at 7 in the morning. One makeup artist I interviewed said she takes 2 hours to do my makeup! That would have me waking up at 5 in the morning. Not something I was going to do. Sarah finished her job in 1/2 an hour. And this includes putting on fake lashes. Take it from someone who has had fake eyelashes put on quite a few times, technique is very important. If they're put on wrong, you'll be blinking and irritated all day. She put on the lashes perfectly on the first try. I actually forgot I had them on until that night when I washed my face. She only does traditional makeup and doesn't work with airbrush. I know a lot of people think airbrush is better and lasts longer, but that really isn't the case. Airbrush is very drying to the skin so if you have sensitive or dry skin, it could be very irritating. That was the case for me on an airbrush trial I had with a different artist. I know quite a few professional movie make up artists down here in LA and they all tell me that they only work with airbrush when they have to create scars and stuff. And traditional makeup will last just as long as airbrush if the artist uses quality products and applies them correctly. Mine stayed put all day from 8 a.m. to midnight.
