 AwfulWe also had a "not so pleasant" experience with the affiliate, "Highlight Studio" on Bowery/Grand. First manager lied to us claiming that the photography studio was onsite - that was false; you have to go to Faga site. Second manager lied that the 1st manager was on vacation when we went to review contract and then told us that she had actually left the moment after we signed - we would have never signed if we knew that she was in charge...obnoxious and lacking in customer skills. Squeezed in 3 couples on the studio photo day when they originally promised that we were only ones months earlier. Claimed to upgrade to larger size photos for free - turned out that sold albums wouldn't accomodate that size so we either upgrade the albums for additional $$ or they would crop the photos. Tried to charge for photo negatives, then told to keep quiet when we produced contract with line item because another couple was negotiating. Downround unethical. We had written Faga off during our shopping when we saw how the owner treated a complaining customer after her wedding. Agree that people getting married do not need this extra stress - especially when they are paying good money. We considered going to Consumer Affairs or Better Business Bureau for some of these questionable practices but decided to forget about them as soon as possible. janet - 08/05/2006
AwfulI agreed that their service is so bad. I spent a lots of time going there to follow up my stuff but still mistake in every part. Bad studio pictures, uneven lighting or over exposure. Delay to response that they didn't has one of the bridesmaid dress. Packed the wrong dress for groom's mother, fortunately we found out the next day at home. Rented my grown to someone else and put it back into my pack of clothes without alter back, found out too late at the wedding banquet. Keep asking with attitude for paying the balance without discussing any of their photos, video etc. delievery obligation. We agreed to pay partial each time at the point of albums and service received. They insisted not doing anything if not pay in full. I would not recommand friends to Faga Wedding or their other name Highlight wedding studio, one on E Broadway and one at corner of Grand street & bowery street. I saw two other victims during visit, one even cried outside of the store. Don't want any happy bridal to have an unhappy/hassle wedding. I may take further action to the business bureau. Once you paid in full what is the protection for customers?! Our wedding memory is on their hand! May - 04/17/2006
AwfulI don't know where did they "workers" get the courage everyday to lie to the customers as their job. They make their own rules & changed them whenever they want. I did notice it's a big diff. if you know the right ppl who work there. Otherwise, you'll be treated like secondary citizen. BTW, the end products are not so good either. Useful Links |
