It is business.....a resturant can hold 60 tables but close down for just 25 tables.....bad business sense...;-(

I went to try out their food and it was terrible! However, I was blinded by the decor of the restuarant so I pick it anyway for my wedding day. OMG... it was the worst mistake of my life! I had 25 tables and their capacity was 50 tables. I asked the manager if I can be the only party that night and the rest of the tables can be open for their regular business. He assured me that they would not put in another wedding, therefore, I put down a $2000 deposit. Four weeks before my wedding, I went in to confirm things with them to find out that someone else's name was booked on my date! He stated that I did not confirm the date with them. Coincidently, the other party also has 25 tables which fits perfectly for that night. The truth is very clear... they just wanted to squeeze both parties together so they can make the bucks!!! Very dishonest way of doing business. Think twice before you choose them cause I don't want anyone to be in my situation. They almost ruined my perfect wedding. However, I'm glad it happened the way it did cause I found a much better restuarant that had excellent service and the food was delicious!!! I actually had many compliments on choosing a great restuarant.

Have you thought about SG Hilton or Mission 261?

Don't trust the management! My fiance and I sat down for two meetings, wrote up a contract with Charles and we still got screwed. We got a call after we signed a contract to move us to a smaller room that doesn't fit all our guests. I can understand that they want a bigger party because they can make more money but what is a point of a contract if its treated like toilet paper. Instead of being honest about why they are accepting another bigger party, they try to make up an excuse about how we didnt' pick the menu and that changes the contract. ♠We were going to fight it but then was worried they were going to spit on our food. Not only did this happen to us, we later found out it was closed down for health violations a few weeks earlier. I guess its better that they screwed us so that our guests won't get food poisoning.
