Review Engagnement Photo
They didn¡¯t always respond to my emails in a quickly, but eventually they would get back to me. On a positive note, the engagement pictures were ok, in November ¡®05 and they came in a timely manner. We got 95 proofs and it took 3 weeks. They mailed them to us in Connecticut too so that we didn¡¯t have to wait even longer to get them. In addition, they sent a CD with all the photos taken, 215 proofs total. They were creative and unique. Jay made us feel comfortable and we had fun. The session was 2 1/2 hours long too, and we went to 2 locations, Port Jefferson and the duck pond nearby.

Sung, and his assistant Sing

Hiring and Prewedding Prep:

Just Fantastic. At first I met with Joann (owner) She was wonderful, friendly and patient. She answered all of our questions, and really took the time to explain the photography industry not just what her company can do.

Once we signed we spent most of our time working with Amy. She was also fantastic. She answered all of my phone calls, as if I hadn¡¦t already called 100 times before. We had decided to take our pics before the ceremony. I was having trouble setting up a time line. Amy, met with me and walked me through how much time we would need to get everything I wanted done. It worked out so smoothly. She really calmed my nerves. She also gave me a Saturday contact number in case there was a problem, and her cell phone number, and my photographers cell phone number.

Day of:
Sung arrived at Grand Central where we agreed to meet, at the Oyster bar. He patiently waited as we were running about 35 minutes behind. (He called to see where we were) He took tons of awesome photos, some candid as we walked around, and some gracefully posed. His attention to detail was fantastic. He made sure everything was just perfect¡K check the lighting, lining us up with the most amazing architecture in the building¡K and snap snap snap¡K. I haven¡¦t seen the actual proofs, but I saw a few of the pics on his camera and they were amazing.

His assistant was really hands on at GCT, and at the ceremony and the reception he was a second shooter, taking a lot of candid photos. (can¡¦t wait to see those too!)

The level of respect Sung showed us was amazing. He wanted to take more posed photos during the cocktail hour. It was going by so fast, and I was hungry. I told him I needed a break. He said, no problem we can finish later whenever you are ready.

Sung and Sing also stuck around to take some outdoor pictures on the pier as the sun was setting. It was freezing cold, the reception had ended I am sure he was ready to go. He came out with us onto the pier and took some cool sunset photos. It was so cold and windy and he was always smiling and laughing.

Then we walked to down to Pier 59 (from 61) and took these amazing photos with the Empire State Building in the background. Sung as shivering, but still so polite and friendly. I couldn¡¦t say enough good things about Sung and Sing. They were perfect!!

Proofs: AMAZING. They brought tears to my eyes. They were everything I ever dreamed, hoped and prayed they would be.

Some of the images are graining. I did not get my cd so I had to scan them. Also, there was a mix up at the printer, and some were printed low resolution. So they are being reprinted for me as we speak.
